THE ROAD TO THE FIRST WOMENS WORLD BOX LACROSSE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN 2024
STARTS HERE IN JULY!
Girls Fully Padded Box Lacrosse
The Maryland Arrows are part of something big this Summer! Director Scott Joyner has teamed up with USBOXLa, Loyola Women's Lacrosse, and many other leaders in Women's Lacrosse to bring the first ever Box Lacrosse team Camp to Baltimore, MD strictly for girls!
This is a team camp and clinic which will have Division I coaches attending and instructing the girls. What makes this different? Well it is box lacrosse, a field lacrosse showcase and it all happens right next to the Women's World Cup Lacrosse Tournament at Towson Maryland!
See the links below and sign up today ladies! (no equipment, no problem, we have you covered)

OUR PHILOSPHY AND TRAINING
THE FINAL CHAPTER!
When you become a member of the Maryland Arrows, whether you start as a PeeWee or play at least two years through High School with the Arrows, the culmination of your dedication and hard work is rewarded! We want to give the players and the parents, a trip to remember to a very special place in the lacrosse world, with a deep connection to box lacrosse. This trip will provide a unique outlook on life and a memory that will last a lift time!
We travel to high level tournaments, where the kids will be challenged, they will fail, succeed and grow as a player and person. In the end, they will learn how to persevere and become a better lacrosse player, both in the box and on the field! This is not easy to accomplish, and our coaches are here to help each player through this process.
In the end, we want all the kids who come through the program to have an experience like no where else in club lacrosse. That is why, every year starting in 2022 we will be taking our HS age teams to the Czech Republic, for the Frank Menchner Cup. The tournament takes place in September, usually around Labor Day Weekend. This is the sister tournament to the Ales Herbesky Memorial, which is played in late April, at the same venue. It is a special place to visit, incredible venue to play in and one of the oldest cities in the world.
This is truely a once in a lifetime experience!
ARROWS COACHES RUNNING TRAINING CAMP!
185 X 80 CLINIC SERIES
When you go to a clinic and pay good money, you should get a great product and the players should not be standing around, waiting in longer lines than 2 or 3 players and receive a maximum amount of touches.
In our 185 x 80 Series of clinics, we focus on proper throwing mechanics, where the crosse should be held, hand placement, body control and slowing the players crosse down so they have maximum control over what they want to accomplish.
In a typical 90 minute session, a player will touch the ball over 200 times! These are meaningful touches and will improve all players game, no matter if they play for a top 5 club team or a B level team! There is not a lacrosse player out there who can not stand to hear some positive, constructive and corrective coaching!
WHAT MAKES PLAYING WITH THE ARROWS UNIQUE?
The Maryland Arrows believe in hard work, tough disposition and an old school work ethic! All of the coaches love the box game and it is a big part of their lacrosse identity. With so much field lacrosse being played in Maryland, the development of players is lost in over training, specializing in one sport and not taking breaks! We believe in quality over quantity, show up to practice, absorb, train and practice at home! Our goal is simple, teach the players and parents, how a lacrosse player should progress from a Novice to a HS player!
- Maintain a love for the game and learn how to give back to the Medicine Game!
